For the Love of Christmas
Christmas means different things to various people.
For some it’s about Santa, gifts, and a hearty meal with loved ones.
Others celebrate the birth of the Messiah, King of Kings, Son of God––Jesus.
I love to work with acrostics. They allow my mind to work in creative ways and often encourage me to use a dictionary!
This year, I decided to use the game to define Christmas for me…
For the Love of Christmas
C – Christ’s birth, my redeemer
H – Hope for those who are less fortunate
R – Reading the book of Luke every day in December
I – Imparting the love of God to others
S – Singing songs of joy, peace, and about my savior
T – Time relaxing and reflecting on the past, present, and future
M – Making memories with family––especially my grandchildren
A – Advocating peace, joy, and love to friends and community
S – Supporting those who grieve this time of year
This Christmas season, I wish you happiness, health, joy, peace, prosperity, and most of all hope.
H – Hope though faith in Christ
O – Overabundant joy and love, even in hard times
P – Peace of mind, knowing you are cherished and protected
E – Elohim, to know the “mighty one” who goes before you, treasures you, and offers abundant forgiveness, grace, and mercy
From our home to yours,
Merry Christmas!
